This recent announcement of Bluelink+ brings in even more innovative technology and waves goodbye to subscription fees for Hyundai customers. This complimentary, non-trial subscription is set to launch starting with the anticipated release of the 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 6. From then on, Bluelink+ will be included on all 2024 Hyundai models. The subscription will be offered for the first year of ownership when purchasing a certified pre-owned Hyundai. Used car owners will receive Bluelink+ complimentary for the first three months after buying the vehicle. This announcement brings in a surge of good news for Hyundai customers. Not only will customers get best-in-class technology, but they will also be saving an estimated $350 annually. Features of the Bluelink+ Basic package include Auto Collision Assistance, SOS Assistance, Maintenance Reminders, and Remote Diagnostics with no trial period. Other features will consist of EV charge management, curfew & speed alerts, and a monthly vehicle health report.

The Future of Driving
Some may be quick to call the Hyundai IONIQ 6 an electric sedan, but Hyundai maintains that the vehicle introduces a new category of vehicle: the Electrified Streamliner. Its exterior design is aerodynamically sculpted yet simple, featuring sensuous curves and close attention to detail. The real showstopper is the 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 interior. Hyundai wanted to create a cocoon-like cabin that inspires mindfulness. Over 700 Parametric Pixels can be found throughout the entire design of the Hyundai IONIQ 6, such as in the head lamps, rear combination lamps, vent garnishes, and more. There is no exact 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 6 release date yet, but Hyundai confirmed the EV will be available early 2023. A Worthwhile Partnership
Hyundai and IonQ previously worked together doing battery research for electric vehicles and have expanded their partnership to include this new Hyundai 3D object detection software. This software will revolutionize automated driving by allowing Hyundai models to sense and detect road signs, obstacles, and other road signals and conditions. According to a press release from Hyundai Media Center in April of 2022, this research is well underway with over 40 different types of road signs currently able to be detected by the sensors.* As experiments continue, Hyundai and IonQ will begin testing out simulations of real-world scenarios with pedestrians and cyclists to test the true power of this technology and continue to improve the artificial intelligence.
