What is now known as Veterans Day was originally named Armistice Day, and founded on November 11, 1919. Armistice depicts a truce or agreement made by opposing sides in a war, and this date marked the first anniversary of the end of WWI. Armistice Day became an official national holiday in 1938. It was then later amended in 1954 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to include all veterans.

Leap For A Cure
Breast cancer research for a cure has come a long way, but the disease still affects many loved ones in our community. Preston Automotive Group (PAG) makes it a mission every October to raise awareness and funds to support the ones diagnosed and their family members. In 2014, we hosted our first annual “Leap For a Cure” event, proudly donating $50 per vehicle purchased to the American Cancer Society. A total of 252 cars were sold across PAG last year –– raising a total of $12,600. Story Behind The Pink Frog
In 2014, our special-edition pink Preston Frog originated with the dedication of our dear friend and previous PAG employee Diana Vincent. During Diana’s fight, she organized various breast cancer events at our dealerships. We now “Paint the Plex Pink” every October at our Preston Autoplex and wear pink on Fridays in remembrance of Diana and to acknowledge the millions suffering from this agonizing disease.

Driven To Inspire
In 2016, the American Cancer Society first honored our PAG family as a Community Partner for their annual “Driven To Inspire” event by wrapping a Ford F-150 in pink.
