An Innovative Renaissance

Did you know that the Hyundai Pony lineup was actually Korea’s first mass-produced and independently developed model? The brand teamed up with Italian designer duo Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro to rebuild the original 1974 model to showcase in Italy. As a direct inspiration from the iconic concept, they announced their N Vision 74 concept at the inaugural Hyundai Reunion event and showcased the design at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The prototype maintains a similar design to the 1974 Pony Coupe Concept and was originally exhibited in 2022. The innovative concept is a hydrogen fuel cell-system car that has stable power output and a five-minute recharge time. It comes equipped with two independent dual motors on the rear wheels, which helps give an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a matter of four seconds. Sustainability, optimal performance, clean power, and visionary design are all key points to Hyundai’s N Vision 74 concept.
